Reliable Data Storage for Civil Space Exploration and Science Missions
Jonathan "Jonny" Pellish
Dr. Pellish works at the Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC), serving as the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) Electronic Parts Manager where he manages agency-wide discipline capability technical activities, the microelectronics and radiation effects engineering workforce, as well as access to and coordination of specialized test facilities. Jonny also serves as the deputy manager for the NASA Electronic Parts and Packaging (NEPP) Program, which provides NASA’s leadership in the development and maintenance of guidance to support the reliable use of electrical, electronic, electromechanical, and electro-optical parts through characterization, lot acceptance, screening, and qualification testing in collaboration with academia, industry, international partners, and other government agencies. Dr. Pellish has authored or co-authored over 70 refereed publications in addition to numerous conference and workshop presentations. He is a member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and a Senior Member of the Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers.

Qingzhi Peng
Qingzhi is a Technical Sourcing Manager at Meta, responsible for HDD technology strategy for Meta’s data center infrastructure. Prior to joining Meta, he was a computer storage server system product manager at Super Micro. Previously, he has worked on hard disk drive product developments and technology staging at Western Digital, HGST, Seagate and IBM. He received his Ph.D. in physics from the Center for Magnetic Recording Research at UC San Diego.
